Factors restricting the application of solar energy
Although solar energy resources have the ability for the world future energy supply made great contribution, but there are many factors make the contribution limits in the range of very low. These factors are divided into several technology, laws and regulations, economy, social culture and education etc.. In the aspect of technology, solar energy resources are greatly affected by the weather, but also is influenced by the periodic change of weather. In the high latitude area, the sunlight is not sufficient, the demand of human activities on energy and greater. In the legal system constraints because of the turbulence, the energy supply industry is not mature, the lack of standards and energy infrastructure in the acceptance of the unsteady and decentralized energy aspect ability is not strong and so on, are all important factors. Economic constraints may be the most important, including: the cost of solar structure on capital intensive; in order to improve the reliability of energy supply, need to build energy storage device and the establishment of mineral fuel energy system standby; and in some energy consumption areas and the shortage of funds. Including control other factors: the public on the lack of understanding of the potential of solar energy; in order to maximize and solar energy, people need to change the way of life, though people have realized that, in many cases, solar energy is the best energy, but not for the need of energy, but not the maximum obtained use.
